Troubleshooting Damaged Trailer Wiring Connector on 2002 Ford F-350
Question:
I didnt explain that my trailer connection was the original OE under rear bumper mount as opposed to the in bed connection which I do not have. I do pull several heavy bumper pull trailers also with that same connector.

If the in-bed 7-Way on your 2002 Ford F-350 was damaged then you likely need to replace the entire wiring harness with something like the Hopkins # 41157. It would be best to inspect the connectors for any damage as well.
As far as fuses go, if you turn to page 162 in your copy of the owner's manual you should see that the fuses in locations 6, 38, 101, 115, and 305 are for the various trailer functions. Aside from this if you're still having issues you'd need to take your pickup to a shop to have any other OEM inspected if you still aren't able to find anything wrong.
