Recommendation to Lift R-Pod for Off-Road Travels with Jeep
Question:
I have a 2014 RPod 177, and am looking to raise it with a lift kit to get higher ground clearance, since I tend to pull it with a Jeep and go into places that are basically off road. This past summer a trail washed out after I got in, and exposed rocks damaged the back stabilizer jacks, so Id like to avoid that in the future. What would you recommend?

You should have a Torflex axle on your 2014 R-Pod 177. We do have lift kits like part # K71-707-01 for a #10 Torflex axle or part # K71-723-01 for a #9 Torflex axle but you'll need to look at the tag on your axle to determine what exact axle you have.
One of these kits will certainly increase the height of your trailer frame relative to the ground but if you're wanting to increase the overall clearance height of your R-Pod I have a much better solution for you with the Timbren Heavy-Duty Axle-Less Trailer Suspension # ASR35HDS02. This kit uses a similar type of torsion style suspension but it has a 4" lift and the wheels operate independently of each other plus there is no crosstube so it really helps with off-roading like what you like to do.
The Timbren axle-less suspension has been a huge hit in the off-road scene especially among Jeep owners so you can be confident that this is a very viable solution for your application. I am attaching a sample installation video for you to check out as well.
