The solution I have for you to carry two kayaks with your 2017 Honda Ridgeline is as follows. I recommend you obtain a 1" x 4" piece of lumber to span the width of your truck bed and then attach a set of j-style cradles directly to this, the Swagman Contour Kayak Carrier w/ Tie-Downs - J-Style - Fixed Arms part # S65148 would work well. The Yakima LongArm Bed and Roof Load Extender part # Y01149-1150 could then be used to secure the tail end of your kayaks.

The cross arm on the Yakima LongArm is too large to fit any sort of standard roof mount carrier nor would it support enough of the kayak to be able to hold them at an angle due to the cross arm being at the tail end.

How would you secure the kayaks at an angle on the LongArm?

In this application the Yakima LongArm # Y01149-1150 would just be supporting the tail ends of the kayaks, so they would just be secured in place with some tie-down straps. It's honestly not the best solution, so if you're able to lay them flat I definitely recommend going that route. If you tell me your specific truck model I will be happy to recommend a specific setup that may be better.
