Directing Airflow and Insect Screen for Ventline Vanair Roof Vent VP-543SP

Question:

Hi I purchased 2 ventline vanair for my small pop top camper. I plan on using one for exhaust and the other for blowing fresh air in in order to create circulation. To achieve this I need to be able to direct the air on both fans. Can you recommend an add-on accessory or DYI mod for this? Also I want to add some sort of a filter / insect shield. Thanks

Your Ventline Vanair Trailer Roof Vents # VP-543SP are designed out of the box to work as an exhaust fan. We have actually worked with this unit in the past though and found that if you switch the black and white wires during installation it will work to pull air in.

Other than modifying one of your assemblies in this manner so that it can bring air in instead of out, there aren't any add-ons or recommended modifications to further direct air flow. This particular unit actually includes a screen (replacement part # BVC0515-05) that works to keep insects and debris out of the camper so you won't need to add an additional component for this.

I have attached a short video review that you can check out as well.
