You can certainly add disc brakes to both axles on your trailer. On the rear axle that currently does not have brake mounting flanges, you will need to add them. I have included a link to the mounting flanges we carry.

You will also need to make sure that the brake kit you select using the correct bearings. Check the bearing numbers, stamped into the metal of the bearings on your trailer and compare those to the kit you have selected, # T4843800.

This kit comes with Inner bearing: L68149 and Outer bearing: L44649. The seal has an outer diameter of 2.565 inches and an inner diameter of 1.719 inches.

With this kit, you will also need a brake controller that is compatible with electric over hydraulic braking systems. I recommend the Tekonsha P2, # 90885, because it is easy to set up and easy to use. I have included a link to an FAQ article that covers the conversion to electric over hydraulic brakes with disc brakes for you.
