Solution for Journey HD Brake Controller that Shows Random Numbers and Applies Brakes
Question:
I currently own a Journey HD brake controller about 10yrs old and recently while towing my trailer the trailer brakes come on suddenly for a few minutes then brakes loose...the display show random numbers while trailer brakes engage suddenly.....Thank you...

Older controllers sometimes develop an internal problem that calls for (hopefully) just a reset. Try unplugging the controller and plugging it back in to see if that clears out the issue.
If not it will be a good time for a replacement controller. For that the I-Command part # TK63VR is a really great and cost effective solution for a replacement.
