Diameter of Rough Opening Needed for Optronics MC57AB Trailer Clearance/Side Marker Light
Question:
not sure what size round marker light I need, when they say that the light is 2 1/2 in. is that the light size or the hole in the trailer size ? thanks for your time.

The lamp you've looked at, part # MC57AB is designed to be mounted in a 3 inch diameter rough opening. The lamp is designed to be used with a grommet, part # A55GB. You'd also need a # A86PB wiring pigtail.
If you would reply with the dimension of the rough opening in the trailer where the light would mount, I'd be happy to make a suggestion.
