It sounds like you are wanting to install utility lights on the exterior of your trailer and if that is the case then I do not have any universal diagram for this. That said, this will be super easy to do as most utility lights only have two wires which are for ground and power. The switch that you use may then have a diagram but that will be dependent on the exact switch.
I recommend the Optronics Thinline LED Utility Light Bar part # BUL69CB which will provide plenty of light and is sealed so you won't have any issues with it being outside. This light uses a two wire design so if you will be installing multiple you can simply combine the grounds together and then run them to a bare metal surface on the trailer or to the main trailer ground. The power wires can then also be joined together and then run to a switch of your choice. I recommend the Pollak Heavy-Duty Toggle Switch part # PK34571. If you like, you can also use a switch for each light as well. The diagram for the switch is printed on the housing.
I have attached a list of our LED utility trailer lights for you to look through as well.
