I spoke with my contact at Tekonsha, and according to him, the Chevy Blazer was never equipped with a tow package that included a connector under the dash for installation of a brake controller. It is possible that there might be a connector of some sort under the dash, but it would not be wired for installation of a brake controller.
To the best of our knowledge, a brake controller would need to be hardwired into that vehicle using our Brake Controller Installation Kit, part # ETBC7. The 4-pole to 7-way adapter included in the kit will be plugged into the existing 4-pole trailer connector on the vehicle (if there is one). If there is not an existing trailer connector, the 4-pole plug will be cut off the adapter and wired directly into the tow package wire harness that is zip tied behind the bumper. The wiring harness should have a white tag on it that lists which wire serves what function.
If you do not already have a brake controller, you cannot go wrong with the Tekonsha Prodigy P2, part # 90885. The P2 is our best selling and easiest to use brake controller.
I will link you to the install instructions for the ETBC7 kit, as well as links to an installation video that you might find helpful. The video shows the kit being installed on a different vehicle, but the procedure for your Blazer would be identical.
