We have a couple options for you, but they are going to depend on a few factors. If the dry weight of your 37 ft King of the Road Fifth Wheel Trailer is 20,000 lbs, then you will want to verify the gross trailer weight, GTW, of your trailer when fully loaded. Knowing the GTW will allow us to choose a hitch that will support your trailer.

The highest weight capacity for a hitch that we offer is 24,000 lbs GTW. If your 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 has a 6 ft bed, then I would recommend the Curt Q24 Fifth Wheel Slider Hitch, # C16546, with Custom Installation Kit, # C16420-204. If your truck has an 8 ft bed, then I would recommend the Curt Q24 Fifth Wheel Hitch, # C16245, which uses the same installation kit.

I have attached installation instructions for the customer installation kit for you to check out.

Be sure you check your gross combined weight rating, GCWR, on your truck before selecting parts. This rating will tell you the maximum weight of a loaded tow vehicle and the attached loaded trailer.
