Can AirLift Air Suspension System and Weight Distribution Be Used Together

Question:

Hello, I am hoping someone can help me with a few things. My setup is a 2018 F150 FX4 Platinum with the 3.5 Eco and Max tow package and I have purchased an Equalizer 90-00-1400. I am towing a 37-foot toy hauler and I think I am around 9500 pounds. I dont haul any motorized ATV in the trailer...its just two kayaks and just normal camping stuff for my wife and I. We dont have anything that is extremely heavy and I have also tried to spread the weight the best I can. The trucks it fine and I am comfortable with what we have and the distances we travel. My question is that I have I wouldnt say a significant amount of sag but I dont have more than I did when it was brand new and no load. I am thinking about adding a set of support airbags, something like the air lifter 5000. I have read and watched all kinds of peoples opinions on what you can and cant do so I figured I would ask a team I trust. Thank you for your help!

You can indeed use both an air suspension and weight distribution in tandem. We advise folks to air the bags to the desired level, then set up the weight distribution system according to the instructions. Not everybody agrees, some will state the other way around, but we've always recommended to do the bags first.

An AirLift Load Lifter 5000 system like part number # AL57385 would work well for you. A compressor system, part # AL25592 is also available. A compressor system will allow you to make adjustments to the air pressure in the system from the cab of the truck. Much simpler than looking for a gas station with a compressor.
