Does Putco Heavy-Duty Harness and Relay for H4 Halogen Bulbs Have Circuit Protection
Question:
Without any fuses, theres nothing to stop a short circuit in any faulty components or wiring on either side of the relay. This kit seems like a great way to turn a vehicle into a smouldering pile of ash. Why are there no relays? Seems like a major oversight. The thicker gauge wire is exactly how thick? 14 AWG? 12? 10? 8?

The Putco Heavy-Duty Harness and Relay for H4 Halogen Bulbs # P230004HW does come with two 30 amp relays for each light assembly to protect the circuits. The thicker gauge wire is 10 gauge which is the minimum gauge that can carry 30 amps.
