According to Thule, the 2 bike OutWay model, part # TH45JV is indeed a fit for your Equinox. Because the rack sits right on the rear hatch, you'll want to make sure to avoid using the rear windshield wiper while the rack is mounted.

In my opinion, the OutWay is hands down the easiest trunk mounted bike rack we offer. Before installing a trunk mounted rack, make absolutely sure that all parts of the rack and the vehicle that will contact each other are perfectly clean and free of grit, in order to avoid damaging the paint finish.

For women's bikes or bikes with sharply angled top tubes or step-through frames, using a frame adapter like part # 64005 is recommended. The adapter spans the distance between the seat post and the handle bar gooseneck, and provides a level attachment point to the bike rack so the bike is not carried at an angle.
