Can B and W Companion Fixed Hitch for Ford Trucks be Converted to Slider Hitch Version

Question:

i CURRENTLY HAVE AN F250 LONGBED 8 F00T WITH THE # BWRVK3300 WITH A SINGLE GOOSENECK IN... WE ARE LOOKING TO DOWNSIZE TO A SMALLER BED LENGTH 6-6.5inch FOR EASE OF DRIVEABILITY/PARKING WHEN NOT HAULING OUR 5TH... CAN I SWITCH OUT JUST THE BASE TO A SLIDER BASE AND STILL USE THE HEAD FROM THE 3300? IT SEEMS OBVIOUS PER THE PICS ON YOUR WEBSITE. BUT, I WANT TO MAKE SURE BEFORE I PULL THE TRIGGER ON A NEWER F250 OR F350 TRUCK! THANKS FOR YOUR QUICK RESPONSE IN THIS MATTER.

Yes you can swap the head from your Fixed Ford Rail Kit Companion # BWRVK3300 to the slider base for Ford trucks part # BWRVB3370 and you'd have essentially the slider version of your current hitch part # BWRVK3370.

Something else you might consider though is that if you wanted to sell your old hitch setup it would be much easier to sell a complete hitch than just a base. So from that perspective you might prefer just going with the # BWRVK3370. I attached a couple install videos for you to check out as well.
