Can Furrion RV AC/DC Panel Work on Travel Trailer with Battery, Solar, and AC Input Power

Question:

Hi, Im doing a complete renovation on a travel trailer, and was looking at the Furrion AC/DC distribution panel for use in a system with an Inverter Charger not yet chosen on the AC side and an AGM 100Ah battery connected on the DC side, with possible addition of solar charge controller and panel later. Electrical loads are pretty basic. Biggest unit is the older model Dometic Duo Therm Quick Cool which I was planning to put on a 30A breaker. I was hoping for a 20A to the kitchen and 4 additional 15A breakers to cover the rest. DC side will have a Fridge and a Freezer, LED Lights and usual trailer odds and ends jack, pump, fans, etc. Would this panel be suitable for such a system? And does it come with any fuses or breakers installed, or do those need to be added subsequently? Thanks,

The Furrion AC/DC Distribution Panel # FDP12WABL does cover everything you'd need on the output side based on the circuits you are wanting to run in your travel trailer. It can only accept AC power on the input side like you mentioned so you would need an inverter to convert the battery you mentioned from DC to AC.

It has a 20 amp receptacle on the back of it like you'd need for the kitchen as well as branches for the other AC power supplies needed as well. On the DC side it has 15 total output circuits. 2 channels of 30 amp and 13 channels of 20 amp. Breakers are not included with this but the recommended brands and styles are listed in the attached install instructions link.

We have inverters like the # 34280176 which will convert the DC power to AC to power the panel as well.
