Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 2011 Honda Accord 4-Door Sedan V6 with Dual Exhaust
Question:
Your web page gives two htich models for my car, C11496and 60236. The phone person said either one fits, one is more hidden. I want a hitch that works and fits. What model and brand do I need?

The Curt trailer hitch, # C11496, and Hidden Hitch trailer hitch # 60325 (no longer available), are both listed as a fit for a 2011 Honda Accord 4-Door with dual exhaust. I checked with the manufacturer to verify. Due to the more V-shaped crosstube on the Hidden Hitch, it would be just a little more concealed than the Curt hitch.
The Hidden Hitch also comes with a ball mount, hitch pin, and clip. If you plan on doing any towing, this would be the better choice since it comes with those parts. For a ball you can use the 1-7/8 inch diameter ball # 19256, or the 2 inch diameter ball # 19258.
If you were going to use the hitch for an accessory like a bike rack, go with the Curt hitch. It does not include the additional parts, but if you are not going to tow, you will not need them. Because this is a Class I trailer hitch, you will need to stay with accessories that are compatible with a Class I hitch. Class II accessories will physically not fit, even though they have a 1-1/4 inch shank. The shank is too long and the hitch pin holes will not line up.
I have included links to the installation instructions for the hitches for you.
