How to Find the Brake Controller Wire at Rear of Vehicle

Seven way connector at theWhat color is the wire that supplies power to the trailer brakeAt the rear of the vehicle it is 07 1500 ram pick up my pick up has the blue wire from the controller plugging into a heavy gauge green wire not finding a heavy gauge green wire at the rear of the pick up for seven way connector

Assuming that you have a bunch of loose wires at the rear of your vehicle, the best way to determine which wire is which is going to be by using a circuit tester like # PTW2993. You'll need to have someone engage the brake controller's manual override and check the wires for a signal when the override is engaged; this is the wire that will be wired into the 7 o'clock position when looking at the back of your 7-way connector.
