What size wire do I need to wire up a VX10000 Viper Recovery. From the truck battery to the winch mounted on the trailer. Thanks

While we don't carry Viper brand winches I was able to determine that they were designed to be used with 2 gauge wire. But since you are going to have a longer cable setup I'd recommend a thicker gauge to offset the increased length. So for that I would recommend the # BDW20348 for a section of 24 foot long 1 gauge wire for the vehicle side of the wiring and then for the trailer side we have the # BDW20347 which is 7-1/2 feet long and also 1 gauge.
