Will the Thule OutWay Trunk Mount Bike Rack Fit a 2011 Ford Mustang Convertible

Will this fit a 2011 Ford Mustang convertable? Is the license plate visible with a bike hanging there?

I spoke with my contact at Thule and he stated that as long as the trunk on your 2011 Mustang convertible model is the same as non-convertible models, you can use the Thule OutWay # TH45JV. Based on the location of the lower arm, upper tier of the rear bumper, it will most likely block the license plate when bikes are loaded.

If you will be carrying women's, children's, or alternative frame bikes, I recommend using the bike adapter bar # TH982XT, to carry the bikes more level. I have included a link to a video that shows how the adapter works.
