Using B Pillar on 2017 Honda Ridgeline Touring to Install Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock # PAL8600

I have a 2017 Honda Ridgleline Touring. I was wondering if you have detailed instructions on how to install the PAL8600 at the B pillar.

There aren't any official installation instructions for routing the wiring from the Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock # PAL8600 to the B pillar on your 2017 Honda Ridgeline Touring but the manufacturer did provide us with a couple images and general steps that can be used.

You basically just need to route the wiring to the B pillar, which is located by the driver's side seatbelt in your Ridgeline. Once there find the small red and yellow wires (lock and unlock) that you will connect to the Pop & Lock wiring. The mentioned images have been attached along with an install video on the 2019 Ridgeline. You can follow along with the video but then simply route the wiring to the B pillar instead of the engine compartment as shown.
