Lippert 1621 Pin Box Torque for Install Bolts
Question:
Hi. I have this installed on my 2019 Puma Palamino 27foot fifth wheel. I just changed trucks to a higher vehicle, and I need to adjust the pin box so the 5th wheel runs more level. Can you tell me what I should torque the bolts to when I readjust the pin box to the correct level? Very satisfied with the part...just need some help with adjusting it. Thank You

The torque required for the install bolts of a pin box like the Lippert 1621 5th Wheel Pin Box # LC1191191 will depend on the size of the bolts.
1/2 inch Bolts GR5 90 ft-lbs
5/8 inch Bolts GR5 150 ft-lbs
3/4 inch Bolts GR5 275 ft-lbs
The Lippert 1621 should use 5/8 inch bolts.
