Replacement Winch For Fulton Winch T2625 For 22 Foot Grady White With In Board/Out Board Drive

Question:

Does a Fulton 2625 winch have enough capacity to handle a 22ft Grady White with an IO? The boat is launched from a roller trailer. If the winch has enough capacity, can a strap be used instead of a cable?

The T2625 Fulton Winch is an older model High-Performance 2-Speed Trailer Winch that can handle 2,600 lbs. Since I am not sure which model Grady White you have I cannot say for sure that is has enough capacity. The 2625 is for cable use only.

With that said, most likely your boat is heavier than the capacity of the Fulton winch according to my research. I recommend to use the Marine Dutton-Lainson TW4000 StrongArm Electric Winch part # DL25200 which will provide you with a 4,000 lb capacity and polyester strap like you wanted. I have attached a video for your reference. The Dutton-Lainson is a much better option for a heavier and longer boat.
