Ideally though refrigerators like this should be placed in an environment that does't get too far below 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
Depending on how cold it gets where you plan on camping it could affect the compressor to the point that it doesn't keep the freezer compartment cold enough for properly storing frozen goods. If you are looking at sub-freezing temperatures I don't recommend keeping this unit outside in the elements for too long.
