Cost-Effective Brake Controller for 1 Week Camping Trip with 2014 Nissan Armada
Question:
Hello, I am looking to get a cheap break controller to install on our 2014 Nissan Armada. We are renting a camper for a week, but I need the electric brake control. My Truck already has the 7 pin plug on back. Long story short, I am hoping to find a controller that is just plug and play into the truck without adding any wiring etc... Is this an option for me?

If you are looking to just use the brake controller for a week on your 2014 Nissan Armada then the Tekonsha PowerTrac # 39523 is a great option being that it is the most cost-effective. You just need the plug and play wiring harness # 3050-P to connect it to the plug under your dash.
This option does require you to mount a bracket at the bottom of your driver's side dash (like most of our brake controllers do) so if you're looking for something with as little physical effort as possible we have the Curt Echo # C51180 which literally just plugs into your 7-Way and then you connect to it with your Apple or Android smart device to adjust the settings. It isn't as cost-effective but it is the easiest option if your 7-Way has the 12V power pin active.
