I see there are several trailer hitches for my 2019 Subaru Outback but which one should I use?

There are indeed quite a few trailer hitch options for a 2019 Subaru Outback but they can all be broken down into two categories, concealed cross tube and visible cross tube. The concealed cross tube option I recommend is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13410 and the visible cross tube option I recommend is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13206. I prefer Curt as the quality of their trailer hitches is better than that of Draw-Tite in my experience with holes lining up and brackets being straight etc.
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver with the visible cross tube is easy to install as all you have to do is pretty much just raise it in place and insert the bolts but this then means you will see more of the hitch while installed (see photo 1). The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver with the concealed cross tube is harder to install as you have to remove the rear bumper but it is also almost completely hidden once installed (see photo 2). If you are handy or are choosing professional installation then I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver with the concealed cross tube.
I have attached install videos on each option for you as well.
