Trailer Wiring Harness for 2017 Ford C-Max

RE: C59236: Considering that Ford has not changed the C-Max in any appreciable way, do you think that it is safe to install a C59236 on my 2017 C-Max considering that you installed on a 2013?

The Curt # C59236 you referenced is not a vehicle specific item, it's pretty much a universal fit that would work just fine on your 2017 Ford C-Max. If you click the provided link, you can see the install video you referred to, showing the wiring harness being installed on a 2013 C-Max. Since both vehicles are from the same model generation, the installation procedure shuold be similar, but I'd recommend using a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to test the wires in the taillight harnesses as the wire colors might have changed in the past few years.
