Finding Stoplight Signal Wire In 2018 GMC Canyon To Install Brake Controller
Question:
Hello - I have a 2018 GMC Canyon, can you identify the cold side for brake light switch. I have a 7 pin connector on my RV, is there any wire I might tie into there with all seven poles having wires connected. Is there a more secure or sturdy connector for the motor home monitor wire from RV to toad?

We had the chance to install a P2 brake controller part # 90885 in a 2018 Chevy Colorado (same as a GMC Canyon) and we found the brake light signal switch to be white with a blue stripe.
Check out the install video I attached to see the whole process.
