What Materials Can Be Used For a Shower Wall In an RV

Question:

I’m converting My bathtub to a standup shower. I will be using your 24 x 40” shower pan. The problem is when I remove the tub and put the shower pan in there is a gap between the current shower wall and the new shower pan. What can I do to seal that portion of wall not covered by the original shower walls?

There are several materials you can use to fill the gap between your shower wall and shower pan, the Better Bath RV Shower Pan part # LC210377. These materials include but are not limited to acrylic (most common), laminate, tile, ceramic etc. That said, I don't really have any recommendations for you as this will be up to the installer. The best advice I have for you is to take a trip to your local home improvement store to give you ideas on what to use for filling the space between your shower pan and wall.
