Will Curt Trailer Hitch Fit 2007 Mazda MX-5 Miata Touring and Bike Rack Recommendation
Question:
Greetings I own a 2007 Mazda Mx5 Grand Touring which Im hoping will accommodate this hitch I intend to use in conjunction with a bike rack. As far as I know my car does NOT have an Appearance Package, though Im not sure what that is. Can you confirm this hitch will work for me? Can you suggest who/where I can get it installed and which racks are best? Thanks.

The only way to positively confirm what features your 2007 Mazda MX-5 Miata has is to contact your local Mazda dealer with your VIN. If they tell you that you don't have the appearance package then the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11028 will definitely fit. We recommend taking to a local trusted shop as we don't have anybody that we specifically recommend.
For a bike rack I recommend the Kuat Beta # B202-114 because it is a stylish bike rack with an aluminum construction so you know it will last a long time and hold up to the elements. This rack comes fully assembled so you can get right on the trailer and it features an integrated anti-rattle hitch to help limit the movement of your bike(s) while heading down the road. The arms are only 8" apart which reduces the need for the Adapter Bar # UB01 for bikes without a horizontal top tube and the Beta only weighs 12.6 lbs.
You can add locks to this rack using the # HL1 and # e98891.
I have attached some videos for you to check out.
