Will the Reese Steadi-Flex System Fit a Jayco Eagle HT 272RBO With Top Mounted Coupler
Question:
Very interested in purchasing this hitch but after reading technical bulletin TB17-01 I’m a little concerned about fitment. I just ordered a new Jayco 272RBOK travel trailer so I don’t have anything to physically check the dimensions. Reviewing photos and knowing the frame rails are 6 inch and estimating coupler offset and frame depth it looks like the ball mount to trailer frame rail will clear although close. If there was a clearance issue would I be able to return the 66561 hitch? Thank you,

Yes, the Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System part # RP66561 can be returned if there is an issue with your top mounted coupler but you would be responsible for return shipping. That said, we have had several customers use the Reese Steadi-Flex on a Jayco trailer with top mounted coupler so we can confirm you will not have clearance issues. If you take a look at the attached review you will see a customer who uses this very same system on a 2016 Jayco Octane Super Lite which has the same top mounted coupler as your Jayco Eagle HT 272RBO.
