2019 Hyundai Elantra Sport Trailer Hitch
Question:
I have a 2019 Hyundai Elantra SE. I’m pretty sure that my car is the sports edition. It has a sport mode so I figure it is. I just bought it and I want to make sure that I purchase the right hitch. Can you please tell me which one is correct as I don’t want to mess up my new car. It’s only two months old. Thank you!??

It looks like the 2019 Hyundai Elantra came in 5 different trim packages: SE, SEL, Limited, Eco and Sport; so the SE and Sport are 2 separate trim packages with different features. Additionally, the "sport mode" is a setting on the vehicle that adjusts the engine, transmission and steering for a different driving/performance experience- it basically lowers fuel economy in favor of higher performance. The best way to determine whether or not you have the 2019 Hyundai Elantra SE or the Sport is to check the dealer sticker that came with your vehicle. If you don't have the dealer sticker, you'll need to check with a website that has a VIN decoder and can tell you exactly what kind of car you have.
If your 2019 Hyundai Elantra is not the Sport edition I recommend using the Draw-Tite Sportframe # 24970 , which is a Class I hitch that provides you with a 1-1/4" hitch receiver to use for towing or carrying hitch mounted bike racks and cargo carriers.
If it ends up that you do in fact have the Sport edition, we do not have a hitch that we can confirm is compatible with your vehicle.
