Will a skybox 18 fit on a 2013 Prius without affecting the hatch clearance?

To determine if the Yakima SkyBox 18 part # Y07336 will allow your rear hatch to open you'll need to take one simple measurement. You'll need to measure from the center of the front crossbar back to the rear hatch seam on the Prius. If that measurement is at least 57 inches this box will allow the hatch to open when installed.
The Skybox NX 16 part # Y95AV only requires 47 inches here.
Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box # TH615 is another option. This box only requires 46-3/8 inches of clearance.
