Do the Jensen Heavy Duty RV Stereos Play DVDs

Question:

I have a JHD36A on order actually on Backorder. Your description of this unit claims it plays DVDs but I am finding in other sites and other places that this unit in not a DVD capable player. Does this unit play DVDs or not because I do not want it if you description is inaccurate as that is the main reason for purchasing this unit to play DVDs. Jensens own site makes no mention of this unit playing DVD.

I checked with Jensen and none of the Jensen Heavy Duty RV Stereos like part # JHD36A will play DVD files. For a similar model that does have the ability to play DVD files I recommend going with the Jensen RV Stereo part # JWM70A. The JWM70A has all of the same features that the JHD36A does save for the weatherband.
