Question:
I have A 1999 F250 and No Power at the 7 pin connector. it had a good 30A Fuse #24. I went to look for the second relay box that was hanging off to the power distribution Fuse box. but could not find one anywhere. Any Ideas? 1999 Ford F250 no relay box for battery charging.

Expert Reply:
The relay box on your 1999 Ford F-250 is actually located in the engine compartment near the brake master cylinder. Since it sounds like you don't have power at the 7-way at all you probably need a new 30A fuse in location 16 for the trailer battery charge. The battery charge also has a relay in location 39.
If you replace the fuses and still do not have power at the 7-way you most likely need to replace it. If the Ford has a factory tow package, you can replace the plug with part # C55774. If you Ford only came with a 4-way connector you can replace it with part # C55243 which actually comes with the relays you need to activate the tow package.
