Can Rhino-Rack Sunseeker Awning Be Attached to Yakima Round Crossbars

I received a Sunseeker awning as a gift ..... can it be attached to Yakima round bars?

In order to mount the Rhino-Rack Sunseeker Awning # RR32132 to your 2008 Subaru Tribeca you will need to replace your existing Yakima Round Crossbars with aero-style units. This is because the Sunseeker requires the integrated top channels on these style bars, which aren't present on round bars like what you have.

For this I recommend the Yakima 60" JetStream Crossbars # Y00426. Since you already have a Yakima roof rack you will be able to replace just the bars using your existing mounting feet.
