Installing Tail Light Converter to 2008 BMW X5
Question:
Does it come with instructions how to connect to 2008 BMW X5 ?

Expert Reply:
Instructions do come with the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C59236, and I have linked them for you to check out. However, this is a universal hardwire fit so the instructions are not specific to your 2008 BMW X5.
What you will do is use a circuit tester such as the very handy Cordless Circuit Tester # PTW2979 and find the circuits for the turn signals, brake lights and tail lights. You will need to have someone engage these functions while you test. You will then use the splices in the kit to attach those wires to the converter.
