Parts Needed to Flat Tow a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk with Blue Ox Base Plate Kit
Question:
Are there any special parts needed to flat tow a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trail Hawk. The base plate I am interested in is Blueox BX1128. I am also using a MandG Engineering breaking system. I just wanted to make sure that the jeep didnt need any other parts. Thank you for your help.

In order to successfully flat-tow your 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk you are going to need a few additional parts outside of the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit part # BX1128 and the M&G Supplemental Braking System. I have listed these parts for you below:
Blue Ox Alpha 2 Tow Bar part # BX7380
Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit part # RM-15267
Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit part # RM-751449
The stop light switch kit listed above is a requirement for proper usage with a supplemental braking system. I have attached an install video of this for you.
