How to Keep RV Batteries Charged Until Converter Is Replaced
Question:
my pd 9280 has failed, while i am waitng for the new one to arrive is there a charge method you can suggest to keep the battery up. so i can continue to use the a/c units which i believe need 12 volt power to t stats to run. i am on continuous shore power. just looking for safe way to keep battery charged until my new converter gets here.

A charger like the CTEK MULTI US 7002 12-Volt Universal Battery Charger w/ Pulse Maintenance # CTEK56353 is one option available as long as you have a way to plug into an AC outlet. Included below is a helpful installation video.
You can look at ways to conserve power as well. Appliances such as Radios, refrigerators, smoke detectors and propane detectors consume small amounts of power but can still drain your battery. Even when it is off it consumes some form of wattage.
