The only trailer wiring harness for your 2003 Saturn Ion is the Curt T-Connector # C56036 which tees into the wiring connectors behind your tail lights. So while it isn't a true plug and play connector, this kit doesn't require splicing into your OEM wiring so it is the next best thing. Plug and play usually means that there is a connector at the reach of the vehicle within reach so you don't have to get behind your tail lights.

If you don't already have a trailer hitch installed on your vehicle then I recommend the Curt # C11115 because it features a slightly easier install over the Draw-Tite # 24734 which requires you to lower the exhaust. You can use brackets like # 18144 and # C57202 so that your 4-Way connector is readily accessible at the rear of your vehicle.

You can then use a ball mount like part # C45521 with parts # F-4 and # A-80 to finish your towing setup.
