Wire Color Codes for Replacing 6-Pole Trailer Connector on WW Gooseneck Horse Trailer  

Question:

I have a WW gooseneck horse trailer and my wires pulled out from the connector and I don’t have any idea where which wire goes on the new connector there are five wires total

Typically, the yellow wire carries the left turn/left side brake lamp circuit. The green wire carries the right turn/right side brake lamp circuit, the brown wire carries the running lamp circuit, the black wire carries 12-volt power from the battery and the white wire is ground. You can confirm this by connecting the white wire to the negative post of a car battery and applying power to each other circuit to see which lamps light. We recommend confirming because the color codes aren't always followed.
