Should B&W Companion for 2019 Chevy Silverado 3500 Have Gap Between Jaws

I believe you are referring to another question about the 1/4" gap between the jaws of the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Square Tube Slider # RP30051, which is somewhat normal. The B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider # BWRVK3770 that fits your 2019 Chevy Silverado 3500 will not have the same type of gap, as this is a much, much, much better hitch.
It may have a very slight gap, but it would be one that you would be able to put a piece of paper through and not much more, which is what makes the Companion considered to be the best 5th wheel hitch in the industry by many.
