Determining if Spacers Are Needed with Timbren Springs on 2018 Ram 2500 Power Wagon
Question:
Hi. I have a 2018 Ram 2500 Powerwagon. With a leveling kit. 3 in front 1 in rear. Powerwagons come 3 inches taller than reg 2500 from the factory. Im going to be ordering the Timbren rear kit.?? But I also am going to be ordering some spacers. I see that there are different size spacers. 1inch and 1/2inch. And then there are different size bushings. So pls tell me what I need. Thks. Ill measure tonight. The timbren is 5inch from what I can see on ur website.

The overall height of the Timbren Rear Springs # TDR2500D (which are confirmed to fit your 2018 Ram 2500) is 5-3/4 inches, including the mounting bracket. If you use the included spacer the height grows to 6-3/4 inches.
Timbren recommends having around a 1 inch gap between the spring and the axle for best performance. Since these units simply replace the factory bump stops on your truck, you can measure your existing bump stop (and its distance from the axle) and compare it to the height of these springs to see if a spacer or two will be needed to close the gap.
If you find that you will need some spacers to get close to that 1 inch gap you can use a combination of 1/2" # TA25722-90P00 or 1" # A25723-90AH00 spacers.
I have attached a couple short video reviews and the written installation manual that you can check out as well.
