I do have an option for you but there is not a 7-way custom connector available for the 2019 BMW X5. You will need to use the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector and Installation Kit part # 119250KIT to install a 4-way flat on the BMW and then a 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit for Trailer Brake Controller Installation part # ETBC7L for the 7-Way.
Once you have the 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit for Trailer Brake Controller Installation installed you can plug your 4-way into that. Then extend the black power wire to the BMW's battery via the circuit breaker and ground the 7-way plug to a clean bare metal surface on the frame. Now you can use the Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller - Wireless part # C51180 as a brake controller. It plugs in line with the 7-way and only requires the 12 volt power from the 7-way to operate. You can control the trailer brake adjustments via a smart phone app. This is the easiest way to install a 7-Way with brake controller on your BMW.
