Which Demco Hijacker Autoslide Fifth Wheel Hitch Fits 2013 Ford F-350 Short Bed
Question:
Greetings. I am the proud owner of a 2013 Ford F-350 with a 6-8inch bed 80.19 inches I believe. It has the 6.7L Diesel engine and the Ford 5th Wheel Hitch Prep Package. It is a crew cab and supposed to be able to tow 15,900 pounds with a 5th wheel hitch. Ive been pulling a 36-foot Haulmark cargo trailer with three axels. I am considering purchasing a 5th wheel toy hauler that when fully loaded weighs less than the 15,900 pound limit. Is the e-Trailer Item # DM8550034 compatible with the aforementioned factory 5th Wheel Hitch Prep Package? I attached a few pics though Im certain youve seen all of this before. Please let me know. Thank you.

Thanks for the pictures and details you listed! It makes my job easier knowing what you have so we really appreciate it.
So the Demco Hijacker Autoslide that fits the factory fifth wheel rail kit you have installed in the bed of your 2013 Ford F-350 short bed is the part # DM8550024. This attaches directly to the four outside pucks the rail kit of your truck has and gives you a fifth wheel hitch that will automatically slide as you make tight turns for clearance. With short bed trucks you have to have a slider hitch to allow the truck and trailer to make a tight turn without cab interference and the Hijacker is really unique and special as it takes care of all of that for you automatically.
I attached an install video for this hitch for you to check out as well that shows how it installs and is used.
