I checked with Thule and they list all of their cargo boxes as a confirmed fit for the factory crossbars of your 2010 Honda Pilot. So that gives us a lot of options to pick from which is a good thing. So it comes down to what will work best for your situation and what you need the box for. The Thule Pulse part # TH614 that you referenced is a great medium sized box that would work for most applications.

It has 14 cubic feet of cargo space, has mounting hardware that is very easy to line up and attach to crossbars, and is aerodynamically shaped. Only thing that's worth noting that this doesn't have is the ability to open from either side. It only opens from the passenger side.

For a very similar box (slightly larger at 18 cubic feet), that can open from either side you'd want the Thule Force XT part # TH6358B which I think is best value as it has all of the features I mentioned for the Pulse but can also open from both sides. Check out the review videos I attached for more info on both boxes.

With either box you'll find that the wind noise created by them will make you want to have the sunroof closed.

The sun roof would not be an issue at all. Most likely though with the box installed on the roof rack and the sun roof open you'd hear a lot of wind noise so you'd most likely want to keep it closed all the time. I didn't see anything in your initial question about hatch clearance but most likely you are concerned about whether you can open the hatchback with the box installed. Now to determine that you will need to measure from the center of the front crossbar back to the rear hatch seam. If that distance is more than 47-1/2 inches the # TH6357B will easily allow the rear hatch to open and clear properly. The Pulse part # TH614 on the other hand requires 42-5/8 inches.
