Using a 36078 Class II Drop Drawbar as a Rise Instead of a Drop
Question:
class II drawbar #36078 is listed as 4-3/4 . Can it also be used as a approx. 4 1/4 rise?

Expert Reply:
The drawbar you mentioned is not intended to be used in the rise position and would only create a 3-1/2 inch rise. We do carry a 5 inch and a 3-1/8 inch rise drawbar (see links below) that will fit the Class II hitch. These drawbars all have a tongue weight capacity of 300 lbs and a towing
capacity of 3500 lbs. Keep in mind that if you need a significantly higher or lower drawbar to tow (you are not able to use the manufacturer's recommended drawbar for the hitch), you will void the manufacturer's warranty and it is an indication that you should not be towing that trailer with that vehicle.
