Can 4-Way Hardwire Kit be Used to Bypass 2003 Dodge Ram TIPM Wiring

Question:

Install ETBC7 Kit option on 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel Crew Cab I have bitten by the famous Ram TIPM problem where the LH turn signal does not work - all other trailer lights are ok. I certainly don't want to repair TIPM issues. My truck has tow pkg/w factory 7-way connector in the bumper. I have checked voltages in the 7-way and all are ok except the LH turn - all lights on the truck are ok. Is it possible/feasible to install the #119178 kit: Up-front in the truck under dash/on firewall/etc. and splice the wires from the Modulite HD into the existing trailer wiring turn signal/stop lights and trailer brake so I can use the existing 7-way connector? I really don't want to install a new 7-way or replace the existing connector. Any thoughts or suggestions you might have would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks.. You guys Rock!

Thanks for the nice words! And I definitely don't blame you for not wanting to repair the TIPM issues you are having on your 2003 Dodge ram. It is both costly and unnecessary because you were on the money, you can install the Circuit Protected Tail Light Converter Hardwire Kit # 119178KIT. You do need to be aware that while you can do this you will have to locate the truck's tail light wires in the engine compartment to connect to the input side of the wiring harness.
