Is Redarc Manager30 Battery Management System Good Choice for Two Lithium Batteries

Question:

I am planning on installing two Renogy 170Ah Lithium batteries in parallel 340Ah total as the house batteries in a Sprinter camper. This product looks like a great packaged solution for the charge controllers and would allow a cleaner installation .vs. separate controllers. 1 Am I correctly interpreting the specifications that the output to charge the batteries is limited to 30A? 2 Would charging my house batteries at 30A ~10 of capacity be considered normal?. The specifications on the batteries indicate that the batteries can be charged at up to 50A. 3 Is it correct that when connected to 120V A/C shore power this BMS just charges the house batteries and it does not power any A/C loads?

The The Manager30 Battery Management System with Lithium Profile # RED88FR that you referenced is correct for your application. It works with your type of batteries and puts out enough amperage to keep them charged as well.

A 30 amp charge on a 12 volt battery is a very solid charge. The batteries will still charge very quickly with 30 amps ran to them. Most battery chargers don't supply a fraction of that.

This only is designed to charge batteries and does not supply AC power to the RV.

I attached a review video for this for you to check out as well.
