Can Second Switch be Added to Lippert Slide Out on RV
Question:
Can this switch be piggy backed ti the existing switch in my 5th wheel? I want to mount a switch in a comparment bay and run wires to the switch knside the camper. Two years ago the dead bolt in the door lock came unattached from the slidearm. We could not get into the camper. If I had an additional switch in the compartment bay I could have extended the slides and gotten in through the back door. Can it be wired directly to and off the switch inside the camper ?

Yes, if you wanted to add a second switch with the part # LC117460 to your slide out setup you can wire this switch to the same wiring as your current switch and it will function just like your current switch as it will complete the circuits in the same way.
Since the wiring is 12 gauge you can use the 10-12 gauge quick splice part # SWC501915-1 to easily tap into the same circuits
