Will AirFlow Malone Roof Rack for 2019 Toyota RAV4 Be Quiet or Loud Compared to Factory Rack
Question:
I have a 2019 RAV4 Hybrid - How do these racks compare to the factory racks with regards to wind resistance - which will affect my great mpg : ? Are they worse, better or about the the same? Anything else on how they compare to Toyota factory racks? thanks so much!

The Malone roof rack part # MPG216 which fits your 2019 Toyota RAV4 with the factory raised roof rails is going to be as quiet of a roof rack setup as you are going to find due to the aerodynamic shape of the bars. The factory Toyota bars would not be any quieter but would cost quite a bit. All crossbars add a bit of noise and mileage reduction, but the Malone bars would not be any worse than the factory bars in that regard.
I attached an install video of the Malone rack on a similar 2018 Rav4 for you to check out as well.
